2018-2021: This 3-year mural project was created in an anticipation of Kansas City Kansas Community College's 100 year anniversary in 2023. The project organized an historical advisory committee made up of community members, historians, alumni, and students who provided first-person history and archival material used on the wall. Mural spans 100-feet on the college's main campus, and combines over 800 found images. Historical research unpacks themes of race, place, and ethnicity on the mural, plus an interactive digital timeline and screens are used as teaching-tools to educate the viewer on the history and legacy of the College and Wyandotte County.
