data drives
progress!
CREATIVE CAMPAIGNS
Hands-on experience in community coupled with the 7 years of professional multi-media production has taught me the power of data to drive initiatives. Below are samples of fundraising, awareness, and enrollment campaigns driven by data, strategy, and storytelling.
2021: Save KC Dance fundraising campaign was a response to the unknowns and shut-downs of the COVID-19 pandemic. In lieu of the ability to host in-person dance classes to generate revenue, Save KC Dance apparel campaign raised over $2,000 that directly supported teacher pay.
Save KC Dance won gold for best fundraising campaign in the 2021 Philly Awards by Nonprofit Connect.
2019: Functioning as a main mode of fundraising for City in Motion Dance Theater, "A Modern Night at the Folly" performance features over 10 regional choreographies.
As marketing committee lead, I produced & placed a promotional video on social media alongside live interviews with choreographers leading up to the concert. Campaign resulted in 171 unique engagements & a reach of over 50,000 people.
2018: Through focus-groups, market research, and media production, I lead brand development for iRYSE KC, a peer-to-peer behavior change campaign with a $40,000 budget. With the help of youth ambassadors, high-level influencers and community partnerships, we increased online audiences by 268% in 2 weeks. This developed a base to continue to communicate programs for the initiative.
Our "insta-challenge" strategy challenged young audiences to create, post, & tag content of what a violence-free vision looks like. Using social media & google analytics to track progress, we increased website visits from 4,816 to 10,241 in one month.
